"You could walk by" this "hidden" NoLita nook "a thousand times and never realize it was a Thai restaurant", but if you did you'd miss its "delicious", "flavorful" fare and "tasty cocktails" dispensed by an "attentive" crew; the "cool", "vaguely diner"-ish digs (complete with "booths and counter seating") have an overall "hip", "chill" vibe, and "you can't beat the prices in this 'hood" – no...
If the menu didn't mirror the eclectic, seemingly patched-together aesthetic of Lovely Day, the two might cause alarm within the five senses, but even when Thai dishes like spicy green curry appear before you, something about the place clicks in a way it rightfully shouldn't. Lovely Day also features a subterranean space for dining with an altogether different ambiance than the upstairs, with...

Really cute Thai place with a twist . Great lunch spot as well as dinner . Good food and not expensive . Good vibe
Perhaps the worst brunch spot I've ever been to. The waitresses are extremely rude and condescending. And my wife left her sunglasses on the table and went back three minutes later to find it missing. I'm confident that one of these two waitresses took it (One Asian and the other red headed). …
Day Lovely was founded in 2004. Day Lovely specializes in Group Day Care Center.
The Extras: The restaurant delivers between West Broadway and Forsyth Street, and Bond and Broome Streets.
What to Drink: The black currant-flavored fresh-squeezed lemonade is refreshing all year-round.
Fun Fact: Lovely Day steps away from traditional Thai food during brunch, with a menu that includes an Irish-style breakfast (baked beans, sausage and toast) and an Irish sausage sandwich.
