Lovely place in a tranquil setting. I'm not a wine connoisseur but I liked everything I tried. The people are nice and they have done a great job creating a welcoming atmosphere. Nice arts shows too!

A fine experience for a summer afternoon

Sitting on the porch, sipping a surprisingly good wine, nibbling at an antipasto plate, that is Lost Acres. I especially enjoy the white Clemmons Springs and the rose Salmon Brook. The tasting of their full line is a revelation. Who knew Connecticut wine could be so good? Well worth the trip.

We went there for a tasting that was very disappointing. The young woman that served us never told us a thing about the wine we were trying. She just told us the varietal and moved on to the next one as soon as we finished. Our tasting lasted about 10 minutes. I won't complain about the anemic pours because the...
