This is one of our "go to" places for date night. A solid menu and house brewed beer keep bringing us back. No reservation but a short wait. Not the norm during busy season. The bar is usually full of locals but it adds to the atmosphere. Service was up to par with knowledgeable waitstaff. A good place for familys...

I came here for a beer while visiting San Jose and was not disappointed. I had their Oktoberfest which was very good. The bartenders were very friendly and talkative. It was a highlight just to chat with them over a beer.
I'll have to try some food next time.

There are a number of reviews that cite poor service, and we found those reviews to be valid. We went on a Saturday night. There were other customers, but not real busy.
