Longhorn Steakhouse

Scammed - Sirloin is not a Filet. My wife and I had some great news to celebrate but I was too lazy to grill steaks on the green egg or travel down to Alpharetta or Kennesaw to go to Ruth's Chis. On top of this we have been dieting and we were splurging with a steak. We decided to go to Longhorn in Dawsonville (which is close by) and have a small filet. I hate to give a bad review but I just can't believe how bad of service I received while eating here. Never again will I be back!!! The service was so bad they were so slow & they hardly had anybody in there so they could not use the excuse that they were just busy they had plenty of waiters and waitresses so they could not use the excuse that they were understaffed.this was just horrible...

My wife and I ordered ribeyes, cooked medium. Both came out medium well. Mine was pretty close to well done. The flavor was good, but I expect a steakhouse to get the temperature correct. The shrimp and lobster dip was bland and greasy. I've had better at this location.

Minnie me. I don't typically vote for chains but since this is a primo location across from the outle mall the following things should be noted... It looks normal but the inside is noticeably smaller than any longhorns I've been in. That point may seem to be neither here nor there but the potential to pack the joint should be noted. Quite simply put: it is quite a time commitment to dine here....

the only good steak place here. Food is usually very well prepared. good service, clean place to eat. Nice place to celebrate.
