I have been going to Long River for year, most always for takeout. Other places may be closer to home, and they are very good, I just find Long River's food to top them. I will go out of my way to come here.

Long River used to be my only go to restaurant for Chinese food in Kings Park, but not anymore. I ordered a Pu Pu platter for two and it was disgusting, The egg rolls and steak on a stick were dried out and hard as well as the spareribs They looked like they had been sitting around for hours. Dirty place with indifferent service and so so food. The one and only time we went there my car was hit while we were waiting for the meal to be served.

The go to place for take out Chinese food

Long time customer and this is the only Chinese restaurant my family will order from for take out. Restaurant itself is a bit outdated and service is mediocre at best if eating in.

This place has been in town for as long as I can remember. It is really the only nice eat in chinese restaurant in town. (there are several take-out places though).
The food is good but not great. We go there a couple times a year. The service is good and polite.
