Such a great stop over to big sur from San Francisco! The owner will plan your whole trip with utmost pleasure (even when you are late to check in - sorry!) great welcoming place and comfy beds!!

The room was clean and quiet. As a mother/daughter travelling together we were pleased to be able to have the twin room. Comfortable beds. We were able to get to the Monterey attractions easily and then continue on our trip without fuss as the Lodge was close to all amenities.

Everytime we go to Monterey we stay at the Lone Oak. We always enjoy our stays. And now since they have upgraded the rooms it is even nicer. Loved having a fridge with a freezer. The rooms are beautiful. It is a perfect central location for everything we enjoy doing.

Wonderful Place to Stay - Especially for Scuba Divers

We love staying at the Lone Oak Lodge and have stayed there numerous times. The couple that runs this place is absolutely awesome. They always accommodate us and the staff is great as well. Very clean and perfect for divers. It is also in walking distance to stores, restaurants, gas stations etc.

we came to monterey only for 1 night and we wish we could have stay there more.
the ldy in the reception was very kind an helped us. the room was clean big and comfortable. the shower was one of the best,they had there everything you need.
the coffe in the room was also great. we had fun and wish...

This comfortable hotel is situated in Monterey. The 46 welcoming rooms offer a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. This is not a pet-friendly hotel.
