Help us make it rightCuisine inspired by Latin America, Spain and Argentina. Sustainable meats, seven different types of grass-fed, grain finished beef cuts ranging from short ribs to blood sausage cooked over a wood-fired grill. Ceviche and a handful of vegetarian offerings such as a pastel de choclo (squash, onions, raisins, and olives, cooked in a corn crust) and platano al horno (ripe plantains with queso...
A new kind of Argentinean steakhouse A new kind of Argentinean steakhouse that combines Latin American flavors with Califor...nia sensibilities, Lolinda opened in San Francisco’s Mission District in August 2012. Offering a wide range of meats cooked perfectly over the wood-fired asador (grill), as well as ceviche, empanadas, specialty dishes, and grilled skewers, Lolinda is a lively...
Argentinean steakhouse that combines latin american flavors with Californian sensibilities. Brought to you by the Beretta & Starbelly team.
Like fruitcake, eggnog is one of those holiday traditions that, when poorly executed, can end up sitting in your stomach like a lump of coal. One solution is adding booze, an always-reliable way to cut through tons of sugar, but cheap rum isn't going to cut it (and might just make the situation worse). Fortunately, we've mapped eight bars which take pride in providing the frothy, flavorful,...
Beef: it’s what’s for dinner, at least at Lolinda, the much-anticipated Argentinean steakhouse that’s serving up the good stuff with more Latin flair than your salsa instructor. The bi-level space is dimly lit with industrial touches and a menu of both small and large plates for the choosing. The eateries most eye catching feature, aside from slabs of sizzling steak, may be the 32-foot bull mural adorning the main wall by local artist Sean Feeney. So go on, get your beef on.
Sprawling, Argentine-inspired steakhouse Lolinda is celebrating its first anniversary on Mission Street after an "absolutely packed" year, according to owner Adriano Paganini. Lolinda is just one of the many restaurants in Paganini's portfolio, which includes Beretta, Starbelly, the recently moved and revamped Pesce, Delarosa, Super Duper Burger and the forthcoming Uno Dos Tacos. But there's...
The photos above are really more of an Eater Outside, but with arguably the most notable rooftop space in the whole city in play, we couldn't resist getting a few photos of El Techo de Lolinda, the Lolinda offshoot that opened yesterday. (The name, in Spanish, translates to "the roof of Lolinda," which is about as accurate as you can get.) Many will remember this space as the infamous Medjool,...
As we plummet into the depths of Burger Week, the names of the classics will ring out: Nopa. Zuni. Marlowe. Joe's Cable Car. In-N-Out. But what about new burgers? They've never been a hotter menu addition, and seemingly every third restaurant to open its doors in SF and Oakland these days has one for your delectation. Herein, we offer 15 of the newest, hottest, and most critically acclaimed...
Cool spot in the Mission that seems to be popular with hipsters. I want to stop at the mixed meat plate, but the guys want to do the 26 oz Gaucho. What to do? Say yes, obviously, because it's one of my top picks on the menu. Despite having shared a number of small plates with the table already, I'm still stuffing my face. Can I blame the really dim lighting? If you'll share with me, let's...
Was taken here by some friends to celebrate getting married. Good choosing on my friends' part. First, the food is amazing. Not typically a fan of family-style-let's-all-share-these-small-plates type places, but the food here is so good they get a pass. Good drinks.
Cons: pretty noisy, but it's a young, hip restaurant in the Mission, so it was my mistake expecting something different.
Lolinda is a tapas style Argentinian-steakhouse located in the always hip Mission. If that doesn't pique your interest already, then head to the rooftop bar, one of the few in the city with a good view, for some early cocktails and conversation, before making your way downstairs to the spot.
One of the best meals of my life!. My bf and I ate here the other night after waiting 1.5 hours. It's worth the wait! Every single thing we had is delicious. Highly recommend the fish ceviche, skirt steak, steak tartare, and churros! Definitely make a reservation in advance. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Good and reasonable cocktails too!
Despite the Bay Area's awesome weather, rooftop bars are a rare find. (My guess is it's because of the foggy weather.) On a pristine evening, Lolinda's rooftop (El Techo Lolinda) has some of the best views in the city, but nabbing a table can be an art in and of itself. If you get up there on a nice night, El Techo Lolinda's rooftop views are worth the steep price of admission.
Lolinda is an Argentinian steakhouse with cuisine inspired by Latin America, Spain and Argentina. We serve sustainable meats, including seven different types of grass-fed, grain finished beef cuts ranging from short ribs to blood sausage cooked over a wood-fired grill served alongside dishes like ceviche, empanadas, salads, and a handful of vegetarian offerings. We offer a full bar featuring artisanal cocktails, piscos, tequilas, & a wine list primarily focused on varietals from Portugal, Spain, Chile, and Argentina including sherry and port. Stellar selection of European and South American beers, too. Two levels of dining, two full bars and seating divided in a mix of booths, tables, communal tables and bar stools.

El Techo is the heated and covered open-air rooftop restaurant above Lolinda. Offering sweeping city views, pan-Latin American casual cuisine, and crafty classic cocktails, we are the perfect venue for your celebration or as a compliment to your dinner at the Mission's finest steakhouse. Fun food, festive cocktails "del Sol" and the best rooftop skyline in SF.
Cradled in the ever-so-vibrant Mission Street, is the Argentinian gastronomic delight called Lolinda. Chef Alejandro Morgan puts together a fabulous fusion of flavors from Argentina and California, in an interesting package. The decor is simplistic, with warm earthy tones of dark wood set against the pristine white walls. One can choose to dine at the cozy leather booths downstairs or book a...

Some excellent cocktails (try the Mi Amaro) and the hearts of palm salad features fresh hearts of palm. Chicken skewers with corn have great flavor.
An Argentine steak house with delicious ceviche and amazing cocktails. Must orders: croquetas, matambre, and the flor de Jerez. It's open late which is a huge plus!
