I haven't been there in 20 years and their food is still great! They have a southern menu. I got the fried chicken, skillet apples, collards and green beans. Great price for great food. Wish they had one in Virginia :0(
I eat here once or twice a month and the food and service is always good, A clean and friendly atmosphere.
A friend introduce me to the Lizard's Thicket for country dining. Both breakfast and dinner were very good. Nothing but clean plates when I was finished. It was convenient as well since the purpose of my visit to the area was golf at the Cobblestone...Park Golf course. Ham, lima beans, and mashed potatoes were great. Been going to this location since they opened. Food quality is pretty consistent with all locations and the issues with the food.
Service a little slow. Wife order Chef salad. Was delivered without dressing. I think it was delivered to the table next to us...and they had no use for it. Had to catch a wandering cashier to get it.
