Stopped in when we were in town for a basketball game. The atmosphere is really cool and you feel like you are in a real Mexican town. The salsa started it off right. The portions were generous and this was definitely better than the other microwave Mexican places in town. This place is worth a stop when you are hungry...

They have excellent environment, quick & courteous service, Great Food, Good prices!! Waiters are very good & you never have to ask for anything!

Started eating at Little Mexico when it opened at Mattoon Lake in the mid 60's. Have followed it's ownership to date. It is certainly a different Mexican food. It is not TEX-MEX, however, the original owners were influenced by either New Mexico or Arizona style. Which accounts for the "green chili and enchilada sauce". I do think the original owners...

Good but not the best

Just go to Don Sol. That is all. It's the best Mexican in Toontown. It's better Mexican but Little Mexico has better American food than Don Sol.
