Licorous is a great bar with hand crafted cocktails, wine and beer with amazing food consistent with Lark’s small plates: organic and local organics.
Licorous is Lark restaurant's attractive next-door bar, complete with a striking molded-tin ceiling, well-poured cocktails, and a dynamite whiskey list (be sure to ask about it). This has provided something that the Hill was once missing: a hip, well-designed space that attracts an eclectic clientele, from young couples to larger groups and local regulars—one where everyone can feel like a...
Licorous is one of the best-looking bars in the city, with a playful geometric pattern on one wall, stools that resemble chess pawns, and a striking molded-tin ceiling. It takes its small-plates menu seriously, and snacks like foie gras bonbons with bittersweet chocolate from a local supplier stack up to cocktail concoctions like the Joyful Ginger (ginger-infused vodka, with limoncello, lemon...

This pretty, feminine room is a classy Capitol Hill hideaway--gauzy red curtains hide it from the street, while the warm color scheme, modern tin ceiling and effusive wait staff...
Unless you go to Seattle U, don't bother (maybe even if you go to Seattle U). I really don't like the Chieftain. I did have one fun night there when they did karaoke on Thursday, but I don't know if they do that anymore. The crowd who goes there is awful - young (maybe even too young), loud, obnoxious. It's the worst.
You will find law students here all the time because this is their go-to to drink and get wasted. I am not one of them, just for the record.Chieftain has good appetizers such as Tachos (tater tot version of nachos with all the guac and other crap on it), mozzarella cheese sticks, and wings. Their drinks are pretty …
I haven't been too happy with the service lately. Whenever my friends and I go in these days (we got a lot), we always expect bad service. Some of the staff are better than others, but there are a couple who 9 times out of 10 forget about us, our orders, our drinks, or the most common occurrence (though least …
Service is horrible, servers are rude and slow. They seem to hate it when a group of people show up to watch a soccer game and spend 100s of dollars!!! Weird! I felt like we bothered them because they had to take food orders and pour drinks. With all the bars around, this place is to be avoided. They also refused to turn down the music and put TV commentary for the soccer game.
Good food, great employees, and great patio! Keep it up. I've been coming here for years and just love it. And, a fireplace, pool table, darts, and a plethora of televisions with sports--what more could you ask for?
Specialty cocktails, house-made infusions & savory snacks make for memorable evenings at Lark’s next-door sister lounge on Capitol Hill.

The chefs prepare a variety of dishes that are available for order late into the night. Their cocktail menu is diverse and you might even get to enjoy an original mix as the bartender often experiments with new concoctions. Licorous is...
