Gordon Ramsey's makeover couldn't them going . Closed and sold on Nov. 1, 2013. Former sous chef at Lock 6 is doing a complete makeover and it will not be Italian, but feature seasonable dishes with local fresh ingredients.

Went there on Tuesday and the food was excellent and the servings were quite big. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. People of Beaver should check out this restaurant.

We arrived after 7:00PM on a Friday. There were very few people dining, so we thought perhaps we had made a mistake in choosing Levanti's. We hadn't. The hostess and waitress were both lovely - service was great.

Levanti's calls itself an American bistro and that's probably an apt description. Wide ranging menu includes sandwiches, pastas and inventive meat entrees.
