Housed in a former elementary school and using children's art on its labels, this is one of the oldest wineries in the region. It started with semillon and merlot, and the semillon is still one of the best wines, though the chardonnays and cabernet-merlot blends are good, also. The semillon tends to be in the $15 to $20 range, while reds are often in the $30 to $40 range.

The tasting room is housed in a 1904 school house. Everything here was great. We couldn't leave without buying some as a souvenir of our visit.

Interesting old schoolhouse setting for this wine tasting room. I am partial to L'Ecole wines and enjoyed the atmosphere.

The wine scene in Walla Walla WA is relatively young but they are producing some very mature wines. L'ecole is no exception. Big, bold wines with great finesse and elegance. Give them a try. The Tasting Room is interesting as well.

Unique wine tasting experience in Washington Wine Country. Just walking up those stairs to the tasting room leads to nostalgia for we senior citizens. First and foremost, the wines are superb. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly; they work to make this an unforgettable stop on the wine road. We drop in whenever we are in the area.
