Bruce Cao's "inventive", "dress-up" Vietnamese in Bella Vista showcases a "strikingly modern" "NY ambiance", with "modern glass-tile walls" in lieu of "your usual hanging lanterns", and grub that's "just as sleek"; "helpful" service is another plus, and while it skews "expensive compared with the mom-and-pop places", it's nonetheless a "breath of fresh air" for many.

The portions are small, the food was fair -chicken and beef both fatty, and the kitchen service was awful. Each entree was delivered one at a time, with long pauses between each. We had to beg for water, repeatedly.
