"As close to a bistro in Paris as you will ever find" in Old Town, this circa-1983 French "find" is celebrated for its "authenticity", dishing up "reliable" Gallic classics in "quaint", "homey" digs; it's remained "popular" with the locals thanks to "good" service and a "reasonable wine list", and in spite of its somewhat "close" quarters.

Everyone in my group loved their dinner. I had a heart of palm salad and veal "Normande" in a cognac-mushroom cream sauce, and being too full for desert, I finished the night with a "generous pour" of Calvados from Normandy. The vegetables that came with...the entrée were to die for. Good selection of affordable wines, and a few expensive ones if you want. We had the Côtes du Rhône, a...

Good spot for couples drinking and dining

First time here for reviewer however dining partner had numerous encounters here before (as a customer/purchaser). This is not a spot for a business meal, but a perfect place for a couples dinner. Street parking, or can walk easily from Old Town hotel. Reservations a...good idea, in case they are busy. They weren't busy the night we were there (a Thursday evening). Alcohol is a big part of the...

An incredible gem in a small space

I’ve found that almost without fail when a restaurant is very highly rated by just about every experienced reviewer on TA I end up singing the same song. But here the score is a couple octaves higher. The place is small but perfect and could...be right out of an authentic movie set of a Parisian restaurant. The service was first class. The place was flat out busy but felt cozy.

But the food...
