So Sad.!! We went out there tonight January 3, 2014, and it was closed. The wine bar downstairs said it is out of business.

This local treasure is charming and romantic. The food and wine are very good and the service by the owner is wonderful. You are made to feel like you are a regular and appreciated regular customer. My wife and I have eaten at Le Bistro many times in the past, it was our favorite restaurant when Robert was the owner, but they changed ownership! And with that change, the atmosphere has gone from warm and friendly to stark and unfriendly. The food has gone from reasonable portions to tiny portions. The prices have gone up, significantly....

We have enjoyed Le Bistro since moving to Fallbrook in August of 2011. We celebrated anniversaries and showed it off to our friends! We were very disappointed when it closed and happy when it re opened. Of course we Hoped for the best for the new owners and hoped it would be a success for them.
