A wonderful caring doctor that reaches out to my dear mother's Rheumatological needs. He is patient, kind and truly helps to make her feel comfortable at 98 years young. Would recommend him 100% of the time.

Six years ago I was very ill with an undiagnosed, somewhat rare immune disorder. Dr Maehara immediately recognized the symptoms and initiated tests that ultimately confirmed his preliminary diagnosis. He immediately ordered chemo treatment and after a period of time, with careful screening, brought the disease under control and manageable.

I appreciate the time and attention Dr. Maehara gives me during each visit. In addition, he was the only Dr. to pick up on an issue I reported to others! I hadn't even mentioned it during my visit instead he picked up on it right away and took action to inform others. What a relief to actually feel heard. I would definitely refer him to others.

Dr. Maehara is exceptional in many ways. Most importantly is one of the few doctors who take the time to actually LOOK at you! I'm seeing several doctors for various auto-immune diseases, and he is the only one who comes in, sits down and looks at me. ALL of the others walk directly to their computers and address the screen when conducting the appointment. I always feel like I might as well...
