Yes this isn't an Embassy Suites but it is great if you plan on fishing Lake Delavan. We stayed 2 nights and thought it was great. John the owner was great! Let us borrow some things that we didn't have with us. Bait shop next door and very friendly! Boat launch was right across the street. Fishing was slow but...

A fisherman's motel. No frills.

Simply put, this is a cheap, no-frills fisherman's motel. Located adjacent to a bait shop and directly across from a Delavan Lake boat launch.

My room at the Lakeview Motel still had early 1960's wallpaper. The bedstand lampshades were covered with dusty plastic. Quite a time-warp experience.

Not suitable for a romantic get-away or family vacation.

hey there,

it's right across from the delavan park which has a beach, boat launch and a place our family could picnic, sunbath and relax while i went fishing. great little place.
also owner, john is friendly as can be. told us a great place for a local fishfry on friday night and local attractions.
if you want a getaway that wont bust the bank, this is it.
