This was a solid, unpretentious comfort-food restaurant, which, unfortunately, closed for good on September 1, 2013, as a result of landlord issues.

We went for dinner. There was a good variety of choices on the menu. You get a choice of soup or salad with the entrees. The salad was all lettuce, at least not iceberg and was a decent size with cheese and a nice dressing. I wanted lamb but they sold out. Someone at a neighboring table apparently got the...

Great food and great value

Good basic food. The kind of thing that is hard to find on a trip. I ate there quite a few times because the food is good and the people are nice. Hard combination to beat.

I liked the friendliness of the waitress. Only had a salad so I cannot comment on the cuisine. Seating was very close which was a negative.

A very unassuming restaurant/cafe on Ocean (SW corner of San Francisco) just off 19th Avenue.
Food: American style cooking; outstanding breakfast selection (breakfast till about 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays), with daily specials.
