The Lakeport Plantation is a restored antebellum house along the Mississippi River in Chicot County, Arkansas. The house, an Arkansas State University Heritage Site, tells the story of the house and its preservation and the story of the people who lived and worked on the plantation.

The Lakeport Plantation home
This site has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1974 and is the only Arkansas antebellum plantation home on the Mississippi River. It was built in 1859 it has been restored and house a museum. Regular tours are available.
