Stopped by during the long Thanksgiving weekend and sipped hot chocolate by the big stone fireplace in the lodge. We weren't staying, but were treated very cordially by the staff. We stayed as part of a larger wedding group. The lakehouse we stayed in was quite basic but still nice. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Quiet beautiful private setting in one of America's most visited lakes. Very Nice Setting

I stayed here'd during a race at Road Atlanta. The setting ids beautiful. These seems like a lot to do on a very large lake setting. The hotel itself was fine, not great. The rooms were average, the restaurant was average, and the bar/pub was average. I visited in October which doesn't seem to be their prime season.
