This park is known as the country's oldest continuously operating amusement park and was first opened in 1846. The park offers water rides, three roller coasters, a kiddy land, an antique carousel and many other attractions.
Opened in 1846, the country's oldest amusement park is known to locals simply as "the Lake." Today's attractions include a lakefront beach; a water park; and a clipper ship with a 300-gallon bucket of water that gives unsuspecting guests a good dousing. There are also such hair-raising rides as the Sky Coaster, the Twister, and the Zoomerang.
Good for all ages, but especially the youngsters- ages 5 - 12. Food is ok, more like run of the mill pub grub.
Love love love Lake Compounce!!! Great food. Great rides. Little pricy but it's okay. Getting a season pass is great!! You get discounts and stuff. Love the water park!!
I totally loved going here. So much to do as a family and make great memories. The whole area was always clean and inviting.
Its an outstanding theme park. Lots of up to date rides and activities. Many water events, olenty of food , clean and affordable.
