I lived at Lake Ridge for over two years. My apartment always smelled like smoke from the people living below me.
The electric bill runs through the apartment complex and they add on extra charges. I was gone for a month, unplugged everything but the fridge, and my electric bill was over $50. They even sent me an electric bill after I had turned off my electric.
They added made up charges to my last bill and refused to return my deposit.
DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!
0 stars for the Lake Club at Polaris! The apartments look great from the outside with a nice pool, ponds, etc.; however, the construction is horrible. You can hear your neighbors above you and it sounds like they will come through the roof at any moment. My place literally vibrates. Whenever I viewed the model apartment to get an idea, everything looked great. The most important aspect of my new apartment to me was that it is quiet and peaceful. I was assured that this was the case, and my apartment was located in a quiet spot by the lake. Not once did the manager inform me that I might hear my neighbors above me due to the shoddy construction; but of course, hey, she needs to make a sale, right? How can you lease apartments when you're honest? I absolutely hate it here! Look somewhere else! I informed management of my situation and asked to simply move to an upstairs apartment. I was told no, and that if I wanted to move, that I would have to buy out my lease. I guess once you sign the lease, you're screwed. If you happen to like loud noises and hear your neighbor's walking all around above you, and like horrible management, then Lake Club at Polaris is for you.

This place is amazing, it's the cutest lil complex I have ever seen let alone lived in! And love the girls in the office they are attentive and always respectful! I will live here until he pops the question! (Sorry girls I have to get married sooner or later). Maintenance btw is always there either the same day or the day after I call, and if it's an emergency they are always right there! Love the place, and you will too!!

They will nail you with move out costs. $800 for new carpet etc. Same thing happened to my cousin, they tried to claim she took the refrigerator, when it turns out maintance had it. This is after the tried to bill her $800 for it and another $500 in so in ridiculous costs. They change staff constantly and it just get's worse. We would ask for something to be done and it would never get done. There were rodents and you could hear them in the walls. Nothing done. Dog waste everywhere, nothing done. Windows would leak, nothing done. They said there was nothing they could do even though ice...

In the beginning things were great just like any other place of living. The moment things went wrong the apartment showed its true side. do not rent from this company or anything associated with it. they are scam artists. check the business reports(this site filters out the non-profit group's name) on them. hundreds of filings. check the attorney general's office records; again, tons of bad reports. no one renting from them has ever gotten a security deposit back. in fact most people who live in their apartments get a huge bill after move-out for ""damages."" they then harass you, threaten you with court, and try to make you feel helpless; that you must pay their bogus charges. further, your electric and water bills are...
This is a great place to live! I lived there for over a year and loved it! The management on site was great and always on top of things.
