Our usual restaurant was closed so we read the reviews and came here. It was crowded with lots of families but they cleaned off a table for us by the time we were ready to eat. My buddy and I love tongue so we had the burritos. Perfect! Huge! The meat was tender and well seasoned.

What a great find! We spent a few days in Monterey. It was a treat to find this local place away from the tourists. The food was wonderful! The service was kind and polite. Great authentic Mexican

It's a basic little restaurant with diner style furniture and authentic Oaxaca style food and cheap beer. Service was great and so was the food. We sat and watched the World Series in Spanish while listening to Hispanic families (we were the only non-Hispanics in the restaurant, which I always take as a good sign) chatting away with their children....

Authentic fresh Mex

Loved it, great food, great price. Very authentic, perfect tortillas. Fresh carrot juice and other varieties. Not as pricey as other healthy fresh food places. Lots of locals.
