La rustica is a very romantic and quaint family owned italian restaurant located just down the beach from the beach house. It's a wonderful short stroll, (level/sidewalks) offering an intimate little boutique style dining experience, with indoor and outdoor dining available. Reservations recommended.

This is a hidden gem. The resturant is in a residential neighborhood across from the water on Beach Drive. The bar is super tiny, but stocked with nice wines to compliment the awesome food. This is a very romantic spot away from everything. Enjoying a meal here and then stroll along Beach Drive is a great way to spend the evening.

This place is also a mixed bag. The location is excellent, just a couple of short blocks away from the main beach area on Alki. It's across the street from the beach and super quaint both inside and outside. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. The food is Italian, and done pretty well. Excellent food, super service, fab value. Went here a zillion years ago, then left the area, happened to stop by on December 14, no reservations. Got lucky and grabbed the last table. Place was packed. We have traveled widely in Italy and this comes very close to some of the fine touches and flavors they serve in good places there. Pastas were both excellently prepared
