Help us make it rightFood was ok, but service was awful. People who came in AFTER us got service a good 10 minutes before we did. Also, this place charges for tap water. Two glasses of water cost 1.79. (we also ordered soda). A shame, this place had potential.
Forget what that Mexican food chain is calling a pupusa. It is no where close to the real thing. Get the real thing at either of the La Playa restaurants. They have my favorite seafood in SA. Delicious, generous servings, and reasonable prices. My favorie is the filete flameada.

I called in an order, they said 10 minutes, went for pickup, was told to wait ..people walking in n out getting their orders, gay guy at register said oops he forgot 2 go check..ooops.,not good customer service at all!!WOULD NOT GO BACK ORMUCH LESS RECOMMEND PLACE TO ANYONE!!!
I have been to La Playa one time and I will NEVER go back due to the filth I encountered there. The cheese on my tacos had mold on it and there was a fly in my tea. The waitress continued to hit on me in front of my wife and I could smell alcohol on her breath. STAY FAR AWAY!!!! after i complained the manager told me I still had to pay for the food even though I refused to eat it!!!!
Pros
+ Cheap
Cons
- roaches everywhere. Drunk waitresses, moldy cheese
is different and good because you need restaurants in san antonio that aren't only mexican food. Is good to know other cultures and for subsequence ; the ffod
