The food is awesome and the service too, though If you are mexican it might not be totally like at home but its quite nice, just some days is totally crowded so you can book up in advance.

I have visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch on three separate occasions in the last three years. I don't understand why people line up at the door to eat Sunday brunch here? The food is less than average at best. The tables are far too close together. Which makes it difficult to walk to the buffet as well as anywhere...

I've been going to this place since the early 90's, and will continue to do so.

We came here with a bunch of yelp close friends and a lot of us ended up with our breakfast club badge. I have all but 2 badges now.
Thank god we had a reservation we got there early there were 2 lines reservations and no reservation. the no rsvp line had 30 people in line before we got there...

We go to LaPaz about once a month. The food is fresh, and served at the right temperature . The servers are polite and friendly. Enjoyable every time we go.

Entering La Paz Restaurant, is an experience one will not soon forget. Oscar, the restaurants owner, is always front and center greeting his patrons, with a welcoming smile and a warm handshake. Charismatic, charming, friendly and an incredible chef, Oscar brought with him from the Yucatan, the many flavors, delicious tastes, distinctive aromas, traditions and the ambiance of his native land.

"Don't question it, just do it" urge fans tucking into the "authentic" Yucatán-style seafood dishes ("try the whole fish in garlic") offered alongside more typical Mexican fare at this Calabasas "tradition" also known for massive lunch buffet "spreads"; add in a "friendly" staff and many varieties of tequila and it's clear why many say it "rocks."
