La Mora is an undiscovered gem in the Museum District of Houston. The food is authentic and the service excellent.
Do not miss the Osso Bucco or the pate appetiser.
LaMora is one of the city's finest restaurants. Not only for the fine Northern Italian cuisine, but because it excels in a quality that most restaurants miss. La Mora welcomes its guests--it's all about the guest, not all about its ego.
If you have not been to La Mora, please go. This is the best Italian restaurant in Houston (and I've been to many!). The wine list is excellent, if not very large, and the cellar is well-kept. The food is simply superb, and the service is attentive, but never intrusive.
