Like an upscale, French Luby's. I like La Madeleine on principle, but not much more. It, like my title suggests, is kind of like an upscale, French Luby's (if Luby's is still around).
I really enjoyed this location during the winter, their fireplace is very inviting. I find people from all cultures, a friendly and accomodating staff. Good wine, nice desserts and rich sandwiches with rich sauces. Yummy! Casual and clean dining room with rooms for groups, areas next to the windows and to top it off, you can learn a little french while in the "pubel" (?), bathroom, lol....
Good quality food. It's worth the price.
Kinda expensive, but the tastes!
Chicken Friand with mushroom sauce is deliciously fattening.
Chicken Salad sandwich is very good, and the pesto pasta has a nice, cool flavor to it.
Be sure to finish off any meal with Strawberries Romanoff.
Solid. This restaurant is solid. I enjoy the quality of the French Coffee the ingredients in their food. They also serve dinner dishes that pair well with the wine selection offered.
