Pork Heaven. Pork tamales, that is. This place is famous for it's tamales and it doesn't disappoint. The chicken ones are good, but the pork ones are amazing. Be sure to eat them with salsa. They are available at Mercado Central, the Midtown Market, and several other places around town. I believe even Lund's will have them in their deli case every now and then.
The tamales are the best thing ever, Carnitas are good too but I always order at least one whenever I come. The staff is nice and have good customer service. I am never disappointed when I come here.
The best corn tamales.. La Loma is known for their tamales and whenever I'm at the Midtown Global Market, this is a frequent stop - their corn tamales are my favorite!

Any combination of $2 tacos makes a filling deal of a meal, and the hearty Sopa de mariscos is a veritable stew of ocean dwellers. If you still just want a tamale, you can get them here too, served with rice and...
