In Short
Lively Mexican music plays over the stereo system as a diverse group of Eat Street neighbors and folks from the Wedge laugh and linger over their meals. A floor-to-ceiling wall of storefront windows lets in light, and… Read More

Pork Heaven. Pork tamales, that is. This place is famous for it's tamales and it doesn't disappoint. The chicken ones are good, but the pork ones are amazing. Be sure to eat them with salsa. They are available at Mercado Central, the Midtown Market, and several other places around town. I believe even Lund's will have them in their deli case every now and then.

Love the tamales

The tamales are the best thing ever, Carnitas are good too but I always order at least one whenever I come. The staff is nice and have good customer service. I am never disappointed when I come here.

The best corn tamales.. La Loma is known for their tamales and whenever I'm at the Midtown Global Market, this is a frequent stop - their corn tamales are my favorite!

La Loma Restaurant is located at 1515 E Lake St, Minneapolis, MN. This business specializes in Family Style Restaurants.

Considered home to the best tamales in Minneapolis, this inexpensive restaurant features red pork and chicken-green-chile tamales during the week; and outstanding, overstuffed plantain-leaf tamales on the weekends. -

La Loma Restaurant came out of the popularity of the original Cafetería La Loma. This version has a much bigger menu that branches out from tamales to tacos, soups, seafood and more. Any combination of $2 tacos makes a filling deal of a meal, and the hearty Sopa de mariscos is a veritable stew of ocean dwellers. If you still just want a tamale, you can get them here too, served with rice and...

Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC) was founded by Latino immigrants who had high aspirations for their futures in the US and the contributions they could make to their own cultural community and their newly adopted community
