We only stayed here one night on the way down to Key West. The room was very basic but had everything we needed. I liked the outside space down by the bay and can imagine staying there and making friends with other guests. We walked to Lorelei restaurant for dinner and had a lovely evening there.

We stayed at the La Jolla Resort for 2 nights in late February. There were 4 of us (2 couples) and we rented the Beach Cottage. It was perfect for us! Location could not be beat! Walking distance to Lorelei's and The Islamorada Brewing Company is literally across the street. Hanging out at the resort was nice and relaxing, really...

We stayed in unit "U" 1 night on the way back from Key West. The owner/staff are very friendly and I'm sure would do anything possible to make your visit more enjoyable. The resort property is typical Keys...very close to the noisy highway and small waterfront. The buildings are attractively dated "60's" and the grounds and gardens pretty and well...

We just spent our third visit at La Jolla, and as usual we were very pleased. We'll be back again next year, and again and again!! We love the "old Florida" style atmosphere. Our room as usual was clean, fresh, and had everything we needed. The grounds, as always were beautiful. Our maids always did an excellent job. La Jolla...

Its 4 am and I should be sleeping but the combination of the loudest f-ing air conditioner ever cycling on and off incessantly and the road noise of trucks wailing by at 70mph on rt1 not 250' from here are rattling their way past my cocktail of ambian and melatonin.
Compound that with the creakiest bed I have ever slept...
