Editorial reviews from the web (3)

This San Francisco–inspired store and eatery sells artisanal nosh and novelty items, along with a formidable selection of wines. Valley residents flock to LGO, as they call it, to see and be seen, and to feast on mouthwatering sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and decadent breads and desserts. The small tables inside fill up quickly at breakfast and lunch, but there's also seating on the patio. Try...

Good pizza and an off-the-beaten-tourist-path neighborhood location make this casual restaurant a good place to feel like a local. Best of all, La Grande Orange is convenient to both downtown Scottsdale and the pricey Camelback corridor. Gourmet pizzas are what this place is all about, but you should be sure to start with the orange-fennel salad or one of the other great salads. While you're...

This Arcadia-area market includes a deli, bakery, fruit stand, wine store and flower shop in one space.

In Short

This is a great Phoenix neighborhood grocery with bakery, pizzeria and bar. Fun social scene and great food. Travel here to try the one-of-a-kind Red Velvet cake by the slice. Amazing! Worth a drive if you are anywhere near the area.

I really like LGO- GREAT breakfast (French Strawberry crepes,) and wonderful pizza. They make their own crust which is like a sourdough crust. Their Margerhita pizza is TERRIFIC. You have to order this at the counter and go to the pizza ovens when your name...

Late Lunch after Golf

My husband was here for breakfast a couple weeks ago and raved about the coffee and his breakfast sandwich, so we decided to try lunch after golf. It is a cute deli/gift shop on one side, with a full service restaurant on the other. We...

Breakfast/Brunch: In a neighborhood increasingly known for the quality of its restaurant offerings, La Grande Orange is helping bump up the options. Small and friendly, it limits its menu in order to focus on superb ingredients, and the deliberate formula has elicited great response.
