La Colombe, the Philadelphia-based high-end coffee roaster and cafe company which opened its latest Chicago location in the winter under the Damen Blue Line stop in Wicker Park, has two more in the works—in Logan Square and Andersonville.

La Colombe Cafe Opens Next to Damen El Stop

Wicker Parkers and El commuters have a new artisan coffee option. La Colombe opened its newest cafe next to the Damen Blue Line stop in Wicker Park on Sunday, its second location in Chicago.

There are a lot of different coffee options and brewing methods, its great, but the quality is what keeps me coming back. Thankfully! Unfortunately there is one right across the road but you have to be insane or just have a gift card if you didn't go to La Colombe. Strong brews, great variety.

Another third wave coffee roaster and brewer, Colombe does a good job. The baked good selection was sparse by mid afternoon, but I suppose that is to be expected.
On par with Big Shoulders or Inteligentsia.
