Nice guy, but there is no excuse for a dentist not to do due diligence and look at x-rays taken periodically during regular cleanings to detect decay before it progresses to a degree that a tooth is not salvageable, or to take standard-care action to preserve a tooth, or to take a reasonable amount of time to investigate a problem before passing a patient off to a specialist.
