Got there fairly late in evening and needed to head out early next morning. Everything was fine except room had musty odor.

Horrible!!! The front desk clerk was in the bar and took at least 10 minutes to pull her away! I would never recommend this place.

Cheap motel near relatives.

We needed a cheap place to stay for a visit to Altoona. The Relax Inn on route 220 filled that bill. The motel is dated but the room was clean, the beds comfortable, plenty of space, bathroom very clean, water pressure very good.

Reasonable hotel with great staff

If you're expecting the Ritz Carlton for the price you pay you may not want to stay here. But if you want a clean room with a lot of t.v. channels and great customer service at a reasonable price. The owners are working hard to upgrade this older hotel. Also if you stay you Have to stop in the bar for a drink and some great conversation with one of the nicest bartenders we've ever met.
