A great way to end a trip to the steel city. It was great to take a step back in time visiting an old school ice cream parlor. The ow\t\ner Ray was a great pleasure to talk to, My family had a great time there. A definite stop next time we are in the steel city. The staff was great as well as the throw back candies.

Ambiance and service make this a must try. Traditional soda fountain with bottle-cap seats seem to transport you back in time. The dessert fair is good -- sundaes, floats, etc. You can even get some of your childhood candy.

We try to get by several times a month in the summer. Look for the flood high water mark.

Pros: Ambiance, Service, Ice Cream

Cons: Limited parking.

The ice cream at Klavon's Twenty Eight Street is to die for. The Super Bowl that they have you can put in so many different flavors and toppings you wouldn't beleive! :-) :-) :-) :-)
