Kitty O’Sheas was founded by Brian and Kevin Loughney, they both had dreams of spreading the Irish Pub theme. The original Kitty O’Sheas first opened its doors in Dublin, Ireland in the early 80’s. Their dream was realized when they opened a second Kitty’s in Paris in 1986. Today, there are locations in four different countries and the chain is found on two continents.

As far as I'm concerned, Kitty O'shea's is my favorite Boston Irish bar. It does not have the slimy feel to it that other bars in Boston have and you are able to sit and actually hear what the people around you are saying. A nice place to go with friends for a pint.

I've been there twice and I have always had a good time. It's a great atmosphere and the people behind the bar are always so helpful and nice! Good time!

Kitty O'Shea's Boston is located in the heart of the city's financial district and right outside Boston's Historic Faneuil Hall. The pitch pine floors, which are 200 years old, are imported from a church in Belfast, Ireland. The upstairs bar is an old pulpit from an Irish church and the fireplace was brought over from an historic Georgian home in Dublin.
