Best Bet for Lunch in Halifax

If you are visiting the Historic Halifax Museum or have business at the county courthouse, the King Street Deli is your best choice for lunch. They serve homemade food including southern favorites as well as a variety of items to choose from. Save some time to look at the local artist crafts on display after your meal. Great place!

We were coming through North Carolina on 95 and decided to take a short trip through Halifax. We came across the King Street Deli and had a wonderful lunch - real home made feel to the food. We were driving along I 95 travelling between Washington, DC and Savannah looking for a place to take a break for lunch atsomething other than fast food.
