My mother was just admitted on 10/16/15 & so far everyone has been courteous & very helpful. I can appreciate the OT asking what my goals for my mom was before coming home. I'll do an update upon my moms release date.

After my fiancé had emergency spinal cord surgery, he was paralyzed from the chest down. After 2 months of excellent physical therapy and occupational therapy, he his now able to walk with assistance. As a therapist myself, I was familiar with the process of therapy, but these therapists far exceeded my expectations. While Ken still has a ways to go to get to prior level of function, the Kindred rehab team gave him back his ability to forge on and continue progressing with walking. I would recommend this facility to anyone that requires skilled or outpatient PT, OT or ST services. ...

My 84 year old mother spent several weeks at Kindred Rehabilitation Hospital in NE Houston after she was released from a hospital in Clearlake. ( She had broken bones and cracked ribs from a very bad fall.) We had an EXCELLENT experience and outcome.

In fact, she appears physically stronger and has better balance than before her fall. She looks forward to returning for out patient Physical Therapy at Kindred. This speaks to Kindred's professional, caring staff because prior to this experience at Kindred, she didn't want anything to do with PT!

I would recommend Kindred...

Awesome staff. Awesome administrative people. Caring and compassionate nursing and therapy staff. Did not realize when I chose this building that I would be as happy as I am. Had no idea that I could get this quality of care.

Kindred's Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals offer intense inpatient therapy in a program consisting of at least three hours of therapy a day, five days a week.
