I used Kims based on the reviews I read here.
I just moved to town and am struggling to find anywhere to fix my shoes that have been ruined by the weather.
I took two pairs of shoes to be healed in order to try the place out.
The service was fine and they were ready when I asked but $28 for two pairs of heal tips only?? That is ridiculously expensive. I didn't go back to find out what...

I have lived in Chicago for 7 years and for almost that long I have searched for an excellent shoe repair shop. I walk in high heals and boots all seasons & quite often need small repairs, heels, etc. I have tried them all and I would have to say that from the top three repair shops on this list I received good, timely service and an ok repair for a relatively high price. And then I went to Kim's. The quality & longevity of my previous repairs were not even matchable to the what I got at Kim's. He is cordial, prompt, competitively priced and most importantly, the work that he does LASTS!...

I saw this place just by chance. I took some pumps and a belt to be fixed. Not only did he do a great job, but it was so inexpensive!!! My belt looked brand new and he did a great job on my shoes. I will definetly go back.

I took six pairs of shoes to Kim's on a whim. I needed one pair back in two hours that day, and the other five pairs later that week. When I returned two hours later, he had finished all six pairs!! Not only that, he had done an excellent job at fixing all of the shoes and had cleaned the insides as well. He even knocked a few bucks off of the final price. I highly recommend this store, and will be returning there in the future!
