My boyfriend and I were there July 8 for four days. Was amazing and so peaceful. We stayed in the hot tub suite. Was perfect for a romantic getaway and private quarters.

Acting as a retreat since 1915, the Khardomah Lodge offers 15 guest rooms, suites and a cottage. Each room is individually decorated and guests enjoy spending time in the common kitchen, dining room and living rooms. There are five baths found throughout the hotel, which are shared by the guests.

Situated in a wooded dune 200 yards from Lake Michigan, this lodge is a registered Michigan Historic Site and it features eclectic cottage and Victorian furnishings, handhooked rugs, colorful quilts, and 1940s style vintage lamps and curtains. There are 15 bedrooms which share 4 1/2 baths available in the lodge, as well as two spacious private suites.
