This is one beautiful golf course, I think this is one of the best within 50 miles or more! Play this and you will be back,a lot of bang for your buck. I play a lot of courses and over 150 rounds a year.

Played at 1pm on a Wednesday and it was wide open. The mature trees that line most of the fairways are well maintained as is the entire course. The rough was cut low and easy to find my many wayward shots. Holes 11 and 12 are bordered by water and scoreable if your straight . The bunkers were well maintained with soft sand. Overall a wonderful hidden gem in north central Illinois.

The Dune's course is a good track !

While visiting Illinois I had the opportunity to play the course the reviews were favorable and they didn't lie. I enjoyed every hole and the rolling hills made the course a great lay out. The landing areas were generous, but you must keep your ball out of the tree lines. Trees a mature and will knock your ball down. The greens all ran true and were in good shape. Perfect day perfect golf. Course not busy and very enjoyable pace. It was like we had the course to ourselves. Great course-challenging and well maintained.

Nice Layout

Good fair greens and overall conditions were much better than I expected for a course in a remote local. The layout was interesting with several doglegs and rolling hills.
