Not recommended

This shop is not my cup of tea, mainly because of the owner and his attitude and policies. I recommend going to Michael Becker in Park Ridge, Col Legno in Evanston or Bein & Fushi in Chicago because I value things like their superior instruments, craftsmanship, and kind customer service. Ken does a wonderful job with making sure that the instrument is in pristine condition! I alway rely on his judgement for what's best for my violin!

Substandard service, crappy instruments and an owner who is the rudest, nastiest old violin shop owner in the suburban Chicago area. Avoid. Go to Michael Becker.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful and very easy to work with. We also so appreciate the "trade in policy" that they have. A class act for sure!
