Rudest Hostess--EVER!. We were in Denton at dinner time unexpectedly, and based on the reviews, thought we would try this place. When we found the place, we hesitated at outward appearances, but decided to see what it looked like inside.

Stop what you are doing and make a reservation.
Incredible hidden gem in Denton. New menu daily but some staples always available. Must make reservations as they only can seat about 15 people.

Standing in a long line at a Chicago restaurant we overheard the guy in front of us, who was from Dallas, just raving about this place. Struck up a nice conversation and later decided to go there. The modest exterior on a sleepy corner in Denton belies the excellent food prepared by chef-owner Keiichi Nagano. Impeccably fresh fish is used to craft some of the best sushi and sashimi in North Texas. Surprise: Mr. Nagano also serves a few robust Italian dishes. Reservations are essential for this 14-seat destination discovery. Dinner only; closed Sunday-Monday. Full bar.
