Unpretentious outstanding steak and other American food options with attentive staff, a few blocks north of the Chicago River and West of Michigan Avenue shopping areas. A reasonable option for a Chicago steak fix, and competitive with but probably not better than several other good options.
Great collection of wines. excellent food and service. The steaks were fantastic. We had to wait a while till we got a table but was well worth the wait
Have eaten here many times, large portions, it's delicious...pricey but worth it. Steak is always perfect, nice location.
I always looked forward to having dinner at Keefer's. I just learned that they have closed and the owner has retired. Not sure what will happen at this location, but it was stated that a well known seafood restaurant may open in a few weeks. hate to see Keefer's go.
I love good food, but excellent service really takes it to the next level. Every person in our party of 5 loved their steaks or seafood, and John's excellent and friendly service made it a great night for us all.
