Dara and Mike are both great. My girlfriend and I rented from them for a week last April. Kauai Car & Scooter charged a significantly lower rate than the airport rentals, plus they gave us the option to pick-up late as our flight didn't arrive until after 10pm. The cars are fairly old - 100k+ miles - but the price can't be beat, nor the responsiveness of Dara & Mike.

Unsafe car.Awful experience.We were supposed to be picked up at the airport according to the website but the owner told us to take a taxi to his location when he landed.He was returning from a jog when we arrived at his business.The car he rented to us was stolen and returned a few days before we arrived.It …
