Perfect for day drinking

My husband and I were in Chicago in the midst of last year's polar vortex (-30 windchills) and wanted a place close to our hotel to day drink. Kasey's was perfect! Small and warm with a local feeling. My husband still talks about it! There was a HUGE beer selection and enough TV's. I am not a beer drinker but...

This is simply a neighborhood bar with the usual characters. The beer is good and well priced. The staff is very friendly. The patrons are very Chicago. No food but the frozen pizza they offer is decent. You can also order food in.

The bar has a great atmosphere, with lots of locals and tourist mixed together. The owner is very friendly and the staff also. We were made very welcome. A great bar in a big city. The selection of beer is amazing and you will be spoil for choice...enjoy

The perfect cozy nook

What a great place! We had several Green Line draughts here and enjoyed the great atmosphere and old time wooden charm. The waitress was so sweet, funny, and kind. We also enjoyed a pizza here which was good, but not amazing. The prices were modest and fair. We could have stayed here all night and definitely will return.
