Automotive Repair Specialists for European Makes
Had them do a Pre-purchase inspection. Specifically asked them to test the battery since it was low. They said it was okay, but it died a week later - despite doing everything I could to nurse it along. When I replaced the battery I found it wasn't even tied down. They should have said something about that - it's a safety issue.
They also missed some obvious things like clear-coat runs indicating body work. They reported some of the codes in the ECU, but not all. I ran them myself as soon as I could get to the right equipment. They did find an obvious item or two that my buddy found in 2 minutes on a lift.
Also, they called the dealer I was working with before I could get back (Hardman Auto) to report everything they found. I wouldn't call that dishonest, but it wasn't in _my_ best interest. I paid $90 for the inspection so they show the dealer all my cards.
Overall, I think they're an average shop. I talked nicely with the owner Sam to see if he would do anything like offer me a good deal on a new battery and he wouldn't budge.
I don't think I would worry about them _trying_ to rip you off, but I didn't think they provided a high quality service and their customer service wasn't good. Good luck if you have any issues you need to work out with them.

Kapp's always manages to get me in on short notice, and works with my schedule. They are very professional, and don't try to up-sell with unnecessary repairs. They do however keep me advised of anything they notice that will needed in the future. This makes it easier to plan upcoming maintenance.
I recommend them to anyone with a European manufactured vehicle.
