Intimate dining

I enjoy Josef's Country Inn when you want a quiet private dinner. It's on the costly side but the food is excellent and I think you are paying for the setting, reputation and quality of service. I

New Takes on Old World

Josef's Country Inn is a local favorite or a special occasion excursion. The food represents new takes on old world style (think pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon & stuffed with cranberries, then sliced thinly). The service is outstanding.

Perfect lunch with Mom

My 92 year old Mom and I were looking for a nice place for lunch and I had not been to Josef's Country Inn for a while. I was delighted at the great service and the food was perfect.

Had not been to Josef's in about 20 years. The good news is nothing has changed. And the bad news is nothing has changed. Josef's continues to serve some of the finest quality food in all of Harford County, MD. Unfortunately, there have been absolutely no changes to the restaurant interior. Craving Sauerbraten & Spaetzle Us either, but were sure there must be someone out there who is. This elegant but relaxed inn serves upscale German cuisine in an unpretentious setting. The servers have been working their since before you were born and can help you pick an entree, which you can enjoy in their dining room, or in their tented patio deck.
