Although it does have a limited menu, ya gotta go there for the Italian beef sandwiches. Absolutely the best beef sandwiches around. Spiced just right. Good size for a lunch. Friendly service. Be aware-cash only.

Great beef and sausage

Excellent place for traditional Chicago fare, hot dogs, Italian beef and sausage. Far better than original location on North Avenue. Staff is friendly, efficient and food is always tasty. Finish up with one of their Italian ices.

Menu is limited, but what they do serve is good. Best known for Italian beef sandwich. Fries are good as well. Save room for lemon or watermelon shaved ice. Cash only!! When you learn their lingo its easier to order; "beef, juicy". It's typical for the cashier to have an attitude.
