From reading other reviews it sound as if the mgnt is pretty bad, thankfully I didn't have to deal with any of that! The antique/ rustic atmosphere is a lot of fun. Our server was sweet and checked on us regularly, drinks were filled. The stuffed potatoes were yum. Real butter woul have been good , but I can't complain. They even have grilled chicken, it's not in the menu so u have to ask....

We do not eat ribs anywhere else! Hawk has us so spoiled to these delicious ribs and Melinda is the best ever waitress. She always knows what we want"

This place just felt a little too corporate for my taste. I suppose that it is fine for what it is, but I left thinking that it’s not a great deal different than a locally-owned variant on a Jim & Nick’s or such.

Get the Catfish!. The fried catfish, an old favorite of mine, is simply perfect. The beef brisket is also very good. I don't usually care for pork barbecue, so I can't really offer an opinion on it. The variety of side dishes is also very good. The fried green tomatoes are a gem. And they may have the best burger in Franklin County. the servers can be less than attentive at times, but the food...
